Canon T100 vs T7 – Check Which One Is Best & Why?

Canon t100 & t7 were released in February 2018. Both Cameras are Amazing with some similarities & differences, but if you are looking for the best one with better photo & video quality, I would recommend the Canon t7 rather than t100.

Why Do I Recommend Canon T7?

  • Canon T7 has a 24.10-megapixel sensor, whereas T100 has an 18.0-megapixel sensor. A better megapixel camera helps capture images and videos in higher resolution with more details.
  • With Canon T7, You can record video in bright or low-light situations equally. Its Video recording ISO is 100 to 6400, but you can’t shoot video in low light with t100.
  • The screen resolution of the Canon t7 is 920k dots which helps to display more detailed visual information than the t100. Canon T100 has only 230k dots screen resolution.
  • T7 has a Live view() option, whereas T100 Doesn’t. This option allows you to see some shots before & after you press the shutter button to select the perfect picture.
  • It offers an Aspect Ratio of 1:1, 3:2, 4:3, & 16:9, which helps to capture images in different frame sizes. 16:9 gives you the freedom to capture the full frame image, but Canon t100 allows you only a 3:2 Aspect Ratio.
  • T7 has a large LCD screen of 3 inches that helps to get a more detailed visual view. In contrast, Canon T100’s screen size is 2.7 inches.

Maybe the Canon t100 price can make you comfortable because it’s little bit cheaper than Mark III. But you have to compromise all the above-mentioned features. Now the decision is yours. I hope it was helpful to make the right decision.
